Performance evaluation studies

Biomex offers to perform the following tests for studies:

Analytical sensitivity/specificity
The analytical sensitivity can be defined as the limit of detection, i.e. the smallest amount of the target marker that can be accurately detected.
Analytical specificity indicates the extent to which the method can detect only the target marker..

Diagnostic sensitivity/specificity
The diagnostic sensitivity is the probability that the product will show a positive result in the presence of the target marker.
The diagnostic specificity is the probability that the product will give a negative result in the absence of the target marker.

Feasability studies
Within-run precision, limit of blank, dilution linearity, recovery, sample carryover
